The 1950s Had it All!

Espresso coffee bars, the Kray twins, illegal hooch, escorts London nightclubs, slides, crime capers, post-glam farewell gesture for the utilitarian rigor. Rationing was only a shadow memory by the time the 60s broke. And its what a decade it was! Icons by the dozens, Elvis, the Beetles, Rock n'Roll, Flower Power, The Pill, you name it. This glittering years, offers a wealth of the X-factor, although at the time was Simon Cowell light years away from his incrediblesuccessful establishment.

I loved this time because I was there, full of ambition, trying to aspire to something different, be different, choose peace instead of war, take life, not fight or suppress them, but love to make it instead. Young women never hesitated to chance it on luck. they were willing to sell their souls to capture the fleeting moment.

Will we think with sadness of 2009 in fifty nine years time? I think so.
