At times, it was heated but there were many Codiac RCMP in the area. A helicopter flew in to Petticodiac lake and the river, as one after another opens up the Causeway Gates. A lot of media flows, many interviews for both sides as water in the river in the direction Petticodiac Gunningsville Bridge. Video broadcast on 2Bon'heures with Marie-Emma Parenteau Rogers TV.

Dos and Don'ts in Thailand

Every country has its list of cultural do's and don'ts, and Thailand is no different. The following a shutdown of the main things is to be aware. Thais in general are a very understanding person and do not expect foreigners to be aware of all the nuances of Thai culture. But show a basic understanding and respect, always good!

Don'ts

Not the voice better - Thais usually try to remain calm (or bottle things) and increase those voice as the face is seen to lose.If you they do not make you more of an argument or any friends to win.

Do not touch, climb or otherwise build a Buddha image or a picture of the king (or in fact a member of the royal family). Buddhism is the main religion in Thailand and Buddha figures are treated with great respect and care. Any disrespect shown family, each member of the royal would probably land you in deep trouble and with a prison sentence (though this usually commuted bythe king, but result in your immediate deportation, and revocation of a visit to Thailand again).

Do not touch a Thai person on the head. The head is thought of as the highest part of the body, and it seems as offensive touching a Thai person's head. The feet are the lowest point and seen as dirty. Thus the two spaces are not the things with his feet, put your feet on a table or to show things, with the feet (especially not a Buddha image).

Take off your shoes! In response to the abovePoint, if you ever visit a Thai family at home, it is customary, the shoes either outside the house or just inside, according to remove, if this family save their shoes! Also, most of the temple buildings have a no shoes sign outside.

Allow to pay the Thai person if they are offering. This is tricky, because in most cultures, often the host offer for a meal and this results in great debate over who should pay what for pay! This is particularly true in Thailand, where normallythe most senior person present pay. If you try to pay rather than how can you challenging their seniority be interpreted. Instead, you can return the compliment by buying them a gift.

Do's

You try and speak Thai. Any attempt to speak of an alien Thai is welcomed with joy and encouragement. In general, you can make yourself understood in everyday situations such as ordering food and buying tickets, etc.

Wai, but use it sparingly. The "Wai" is a Thai greeting, done byPress the palms of hands together, prayer-like. By all means Wai back if you offered to you, but you should not necessarily offer a wai meet every Thai person you are. Apart from this increasingly boring after a while, it is not necessary. It is something woven into the Thai culture and under all possible rules and subtleties to do with your age, seniority and position in society and family structure. For example, a Thai office worker greet their boss or ansenior member of the family of her partner with a wai, but they would not do the same to a low waiter. Foreigners are not expected to understand all this, but a basic awareness is always welcome.

They show great respect for the monks and offer your seat on a boat or by bus to a monk. As a general rule, women should avoid all physical and eye contact with a monk. Each is expected to show in terms of monks. It is always welcome, if you give up your seat for a monk and the riverSpeedboats in Bangkok even have special Monk only areas. As in many places, so that your seat for an older person is also appreciated.

Keep your wits about you. When on vacation, people are naturally more relaxed and have a tendency to let down their guard. As such, the tourists an easy prey for the many fraudsters from Bangkok, do not let this be you! If you were at home, and someone tells you that a well-known attraction royal ceremony was closed for one, would youbelieve them? If someone said to sell it was a government one day only jewel, would you believe them? Exactly! Do not fall for this trick in Thailand, see my own article "The Bangkok Tuk-Tuk trick" about this.

Try to eat the road. Many people are afraid to try the infamous Thai Street Food, Bangkok is famous for its excellent street food. This probably comes from our adjusted, health and safety conscious way of life in the West. However, Thai Street Food is withthe best, according to the general rule of looking busy stalls and booths go with a large Thai clientele.

You try to dress respectfully. While no one could care less if you're around in shorts and T-shirts, remember that modern Thailand is a relatively conservative place. Thai people (especially the older generation) tend to be good clothing for all occasions, at least, and polo-shirt and jeans. Certainly not in your city for strolling swimwear, as you see, in many Europeanresorts.

They have a great time in Thailand, if you and you try to respect the above rules and Thai people will appreciate it if you show some awareness of their way of life. People will probably say, if you are too polite) are subject to Thai / insult Buddhism upsetting them so you're unlikely to land yourself any trouble (except as noted above, nothing offensive to the royal family. But for a proper holiday and If you crave contact and exchange with the locals, thisGuide is to help you!
