Hello everyone, I wanted to give you my feedback with the large sums of money in the cruise industry these days .... The new Royal Caribbean, Oasis of the Seas! It is home port in Fort Lauderdale all year long. My husband and I had the pleasure of two nights on board during a pre-inaugural tour office / media spend training cruise. I must say I had my doubts like a great ship .... the largest at sea, 225,000 GRT (gross registered tons), up from the Freedom-class shipsof 160,000 tons. This ship carries about 6,500 passengers plus staff.
I thought before I crossed ..... too large, too many people, a monstrosity I would not want to cross really. I thought .... why should all of a ship that great need.
Well let me tell you ...... I was wrong! This is an innovative ship, it has more to do to see more, experience more and more to enjoy, then I could in a week. And better yet, it is easy to maneuver (in contrast to many ships, where up and down and mustto get around, where you go).
It has an ice skating rink, basketball court, mini golf, two Flow Rider surf simulator, a zip line, a mini golf course, two climbing walls, five pools, a spa, fitness center, large indoor theater, comedy club, a jazz club, piano bar, a pub, a Spanish club, the Royal Promenade with big parades, and a water theater, casino, full-size carousel, shopping, shopping and shopping (candy store, at sea, saving pets (think Build- A-Bear)Children boutiques, teen boutiques, COACH, Prince and Greene, Willow, etc), two arcades, table tennis, a fabulous children's pool area, large children's and youth clubs and much more.
This does not even two dozen restaurants. Yes, they charge a premium lot but what a fabulous selection of the Royal Promenade has cupcake shop on the Johnny Rockets and the Seafood Hut on the Boardwalk, Japanese and Sushi Restaurant Izumi, the very upscale 150 CentralPark, which I hear is absolutely the best with an impressive young chef prepares an indescribable multi-course menu. And I've never seen a buffet dining area as beautiful as seen on this ship. The Windjammer Marketplace, as they call it, has windows that face directly out over the promenade, the zip line, basketball and mini golf. We sat at the end of the zip line and enjoyed watching the faces of those zooming through the Open-Air-zip line 10 decks above the Boardwalk while we ateLunch.
This ship is a destination ....
If I was lucky, I'm back, I plan to take my children (15 and 12), although I am sure I will never am. Did I mention the great teen club? It is far from the rest of the Kid's Club and convenient to the sports deck, the Wipe Out Café (Think pizza, hot dogs and soft ice cream) and a large arcade. It has (as do teen's like) giant bean bags to lounge in, it has a music studio, a gaming area, which looked like a yogaArea and even outside meeting place shaded area.
My thoughts on what I will, if I to 7 nights .... spend a day to be able to enjoy in any environment. I loved the Boardwalk with the Aqua Theatre, where it shows high divers, synchronized swimmers, and more have. The floor in the pool matches of a dry period to 18 m deep. How cool is that? I want to spend more time in Central Park. I did not even get a chance to take a ride and a drink on the Rising Tide Barthat floats up and down, between Central Park and the Royal Promenade. It looks like a giant surfboard new era! And oh, do not forget the adults only Solarium with private pool, two whirlpools astonishing that are exposed on the side of the ship, their own "healthy choice" breakfast area, lazy lounge and a bar
And let me mention the accommodations on this ship .... You far more to choose from then any before. Of course, the standard inside, ocean view, balcony andSuites, but more. How about a balcony, the park faces the Boardwalk or Central, or perhaps an inside look at the Royal Promenade. Perhaps you prefer a suite ..... how about the new 2-level loft suites .... they are amazing, especially the Royal Loft Suite! I fell in love with the Aqua Theater Suite, which sleeps up to 8 guests. It has a large balcony overlooking the ocean, the other on one side and the aqua theater and rock climbing walls. And there are a handful of 6Person inside and ocean view cabins for those of you with large families with young children. I think I've heard that there were seven on board, so be sure to book in advance it. They will go fast!
My advice when you cruise .... You book your evening's entertainment in advance, before entering the ship. You can check schedules and options, if you have booked. You can do this interactive from your TV in your cabin, but why wait .... be sure what you want. I particularlyrecommended for the comedy club, as it only seats about 110 people per show. I also recommend that you not wait to book your cruise. This ship is very popular because there is so much enthusiasm and pricing was up. If you book early to buy Best Cruise, you get the best selection of cabins, but you get the best prices because we just keep these records for you on a bi-weekly. When prices fall, we get you the lower rates! No work required on your part to keep aEye out. We are after your best interest, because we believe the agency your are about your friends and family and the agency you come back, again and again want to be. Do not forget we also offer the best prices available on Royal Caribbean has to offer, and then all off by giving you enjoy on board ship credit on the.

Let me know if you have any questions, I would be glad to talk about this ship with you at any time. Yes, pricing kind of high in 2010, but that's like no other ship on the high seas! It is on my list has to do now!
